What type of driving work can we offer?
Multi-Drop roles –> This tends to include numerous deliveries and collections within a designated area i.e. Bristol. 10 plus stops.
Trunking —> A to B and back again. You will be transporting a bulk load to a depot, main hub or RDC. These shifts are usually night shifts between 10hrs and 12hrs in length.
Shunting –> This tends to be in the company’s yard, moving trailers and vehicles around, occasionally some offsite movements too.
Tramping –> This involves longer distance work where you don’t always return to base each evening so you sleep in the cab of the truck.
Specialist Roles –> Additional licences such as ADR, HIAB and Moffett. An ADR allows you to transport hazardous goods such as fuel, oil etc. HIAB involves a lorry mounted crane, this is usually used by builders merchants. A Moffett is a type of FLT that allows you to offload your own lorry. It is mounted to the back of the trailer.
